The Gig Agreement and your own terms
What both sides sign, when, and how to add your brand's rules.
Every hire runs on a Gig Agreement: the campaign's brief, pay, deadline and deliverables, plus Hype's standard terms on usage, disclosure (#ad) and payment. The creator signs it by applying (they can read it on the gig first) and you sign it by hiring them, so a hire is fully signed the moment it happens. If the campaign changed after they applied, they re-sign the updated text in the chat before filming. Until both signatures are in, no video can be submitted and no money moves. It's in the chat thread for both of you, with the time each party signed.
Your own terms
Add them once in Settings → Brand terms (exclusivity, usage beyond your own channels, do's and don'ts). They appear as a section of every Gig Agreement and community agreement. A creator accepts your terms once per brand; later gigs reference the same acceptance.
Communities and open campaigns
Asking to join a community signs the Community Agreement (you can read it before you send); a brand's invite is signed from its page. On open campaigns with no hire step, the creator signs when they press Start filming.
