How to set up your brand community

Turn on a standing program where approved creators submit videos any time and earn a share of the sales they drive, or a set amount per lead.

Steps

1. Go to Community in the sidebar and open Your own creator community.
2. Describe it A short description creators see on your brand page, your website, and what members earn: a % of sales (10% is a common starting point) a set amount per lead for the ads you build from their videos ($3 to $20 is typical), or perks: a free item or service, a discount, store credit or event access, on their own or on top of the pay.
3. Turn on Accepting requests so creators can ask to join from the Brands page in their app. Turn it off any time; existing members stay.
4. Add a card or bank when the page asks. Let members submit anytime stays off until one is saved.
5. Save Your community is live. Share your brand page, or invite creators from the Creators tab.

Handling requests

New requests show at the top of Community with the creator's note and a link to their work. Approve makes them a member on the spot: they signed the Community Agreement when they asked to join, and your community accepted it for every member when you opened it. Decline sends a polite no. You can Remove from community later.

What members can do

• Submit a video any time from your brand page; you approve or request changes in Submissions.
• Earn a share of the sales your ads bring in. Orders through an ad built from their video are credited to that creator.
• Read your Announcements and talk in the community Chat room (see the community chat guide).

Members don't see your campaigns unless you invite them. Communities and campaigns are separate on purpose.
