How Hype works for brands
The two ways to work with creators on Hype, where the money comes from, and where everything lives in your dashboard.
Hype connects your brand with creators who film short videos of your products and post them on TikTok and Instagram. You can run it two ways, and most brands end up using both.
Campaigns
A campaign is a brief with a budget. You say what you want filmed, how many creators you want, and what each video pays: a flat amount per video, an amount per 1K views, or perks only. Creators apply (or you invite them), you hire the ones you like, and you approve each video as it comes in. The budget is reserved from your wallet when you post, so creators know the money is there.
Your community
A community is a standing invitation. Creators ask to join (or you invite them), and once they're in they can film and submit videos any time, no campaign needed. Members earn a share of the sales the ads you build from their videos bring in. You don't prepay anything; their share is billed to your card or bank every Monday.
Where things live
- Campaigns: post and manage briefs, see applicants.
- Discovery: browse every creator on Hype, filter, favorite and invite.
- Creators: the people you've worked with, and the Invite button.
- Community: requests, members, your commission, announcements and chat rooms.
- Submissions: every video waiting for a decision.
- Chat: one thread per creator and gig, with the Gig Agreement, the video and the payment.
- Analytics: spend, sales from creators, ad ratios and a per-video table.
- Ads: the ads you've built from creators' videos.
- Wallet: your balance, your card or bank on file, and the upcoming Monday payment.
- Integrations: Shopify, Meta and TikTok Ads.
The Hype app for iPhone does all of this too, plus Hyper mode for swiping through applicants.
