How to connect Meta

Connect your Facebook ad account so you can turn creators' Instagram posts into ads that run from your own account.

You need a Meta ad account you can manage, with a payment method set in Meta Ads Manager. Meta bills the ad spend; Hype only bills its 1.25% fee.

Steps

Go to Integrations and click Connect Meta under Where do you want to run ads?
Sign in with Facebook and grant Hype the ads permissions it asks for.
Pick the ad account and Page if you have more than one. You can change them later from the same card.
Done The Meta tile shows the connected account. Approved videos in Chat now have a Boost this post button, and the Ads page has Build ad.

How the creator's post becomes your ad

When a creator adds their post link, they grant boost rights on that post. On Instagram that's the partner toggle on the post; on TikTok it's a Spark code. Hype then creates the ad in your ad account from their post, so it runs with the creator's name on it and the results land in your Ads Manager as well as in Hype.
