Deleting your account

What's removed, what's kept, and the one thing to do first.

1. Withdraw your balance or spend down your wallet. An account with money in it can't be deleted.
2. Settings → Delete account in the app, or buildhype.app/delete-account on the web. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your sign-in stops working and your profile disappears from Hype at once. Gig history and payment records are kept privately for the time the law requires, then removed; nothing about you is shown in the product again. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
