Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2, 2026

This policy explains what Hyper Attention Inc. ("Hype", "we") collects when you use the Hype app and website, why, and the choices you have. It applies to Creators, Businesses, and visitors.

1. What we collect

Account details. Name or business name, email, and the identity of your sign-in provider (Apple, Google, or email). Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us in readable form.

Profile information. For Creators: display name, photo, bio, city, social handles (TikTok, Instagram), links to your top videos, portfolio media, niches, and optionally birth year and gender, which are used only to help Businesses filter creators. For Businesses: business name, logo, photos, category, address, and bio. Profiles are visible to other signed-in users of the Service.

Campaign and gig records. Campaigns, applications, hires, signed Gig Agreements (including your typed signature name, timestamp, and IP address), submitted videos and notes, review decisions, ratings and reviews, invites, and favorites.

Messages. Messages, video submissions, and receipts exchanged between a Creator and a Business inside the Service, including read receipts.

Payments. Wallet balances and a ledger of every top-up, escrow movement, payout, and withdrawal. Card, bank, and identity-verification details are collected and stored by our payment processor under its own privacy policy. Hype never sees your full card or bank numbers.

Performance data. If you connect a public social account, we collect public statistics for videos made through Hype, such as view counts, on a daily schedule. We do not collect private account data or credentials for those platforms.

Location. Business addresses you enter, and, with permission, the approximate location of a Creator's device to show nearby campaigns on the map. Precise location is not stored.

Device and usage. Device type, app version, crash reports, and basic usage events needed to run and improve the Service.

2. How we use it

To run the marketplace: matching Creators with campaigns, messaging, reviews, escrow, and payouts. To keep the Service safe: fraud prevention, dispute review, and enforcing our Terms. To communicate with you: gig updates, payment notices, and support. To improve Hype: aggregated, de-identified analytics. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Who we share it with

Other users. Businesses see the profiles of Creators who apply or whom they browse in Discovery, and everything in a shared gig. Creators see Business profiles, campaigns, and everything in a shared gig. Ratings and reviews are visible to signed-in users.

Service providers. Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), our payment processor (payments, payouts, identity verification, tax forms), Apple and RevenueCat (App Store subscriptions), Google and Apple (sign-in), and infrastructure and analytics vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.

Legal. When required by law, to protect users or Hype, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply.

4. Retention

Account and profile data is kept while your account is open. Financial ledgers and signed Gig Agreements are kept for seven years after the transaction to meet tax and dispute obligations, even if you close your account. Messages and submissions are kept for the life of the gig plus two years. Performance data is kept for as long as the related video record exists.

5. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile at any time in the app or on the website. You can disconnect a social account to stop performance collection. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by emailing privacy@hyperattention.ai; we will respond within 30 days. Some records (ledgers, signed agreements) must be retained as described above. Residents of California, the EU, the UK, and other regions with privacy laws have additional rights, including access, correction, portability, and objection, which you can exercise by contacting us.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is limited to staff who need it and is logged. Row-level security ensures users only read the records they are party to. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you we will notify you as the law requires.

7. Children

Hype is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete such accounts when we find them.

8. International users

Hype is operated from the United States and data is processed there. By using the Service you consent to that transfer.

9. Changes and contact

We will announce material changes to this policy in the app or by email before they take effect. Contact: Hyper Attention Inc., privacy@hyperattention.ai.
